[section bg=””][info][inf title=”Short backstory” subtitle=”A LITTLE BIT OF HISTORY”]

My interaction design career started in Australia back in 2000. I was working on ‘interactive TV’ back then and took up a role at Foxtel to design their applications when they launched their digital TV service in Australia.

I’ve had an eclectic career, always focused on digital innovation and spanning from brand driven advertising communications through to detailed platform specific software design.

My experience spans 28 years and in that time I’ve learnt a great deal – mostly around embracing production processes and fitting into development teams with diverse skillsets, across multiple cultures and locations.

If you need to add a UXer to your team who has a resourceful nature and flexible approach. We should talk.

I am comfortable in teams which are newly constructed with multiple stakeholders or with offshore development teams. I enjoy the challenge of communicating processes, setting up best practice within a development environment as a starting point for delivering UX design and services.

UI kits, style guides, responsive interfaces, navigation schema and information architecture are my bread and butter. I enjoy setting up user testing sessions, doing the note taking and first hand observation and user journey documentation and presentations – you name it, I’m across it!

My software skills are flexible as I am always keen to learn whatever package or system best suits the team or company I join. Prototyping is always to a standard that suits the production cycle or dev team logistics and balances the needs of business analysts and team managers alike.
